AmritToday \/ Raipur Municipal Corporation Commissioner Abinash Mishra visited the Integrated Traffic Management System (ITMS) command center located on the third floor of the old bus stand multi-level parking. He monitored stray cattle on various city roads through CCTV cameras installed there. For public convenience, the Raipur Municipal Corporation has issued helpline numbers 6269066630 or 6269066612 for the capture of stray cattle. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Complaints regarding stray cattle are being registered by citizens on these numbers. According to the Commissioner’s instructions, these complaints, along with the location and mobile number of the complainant, are being sent to the Municipal Corporation’s Health WhatsApp group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The health department team of the concerned area, with the help of the cow catcher vehicle and special team members, promptly removes the stray cattle from the roads, ensuring no inconvenience to the public.Commissioner Abinash Mishra has directed Health Officer Dr. Tripti Panigrahi and all zonal health officers to immediately respond to the mobile numbers and locations of citizens’ complaints received on the stray cattle helpline and remove stray cattle from the roads to prevent any inconvenience to the public.As per the orders of the Hon’ble High Court and the directions of the state government, Raipur District Collector Dr. Gaurav Kumar Singh and Raipur Municipal Corporation Commissioner Abinash Mishra, the stray cattle catching campaign is continuously conducted daily by the cow catcher teams of all zones in the municipal corporation area. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zone 10’s team removed 15 stray cattle from Devpuri Main Road and 4 from the Dronacharya School Road to Lalpur Road, sending a total of 19 stray cattle to Gokul Nagar Gauthan. Zone 4’s team caught 3 stray cattle in Ward 57, 2 in Ward 45, and 2 in Ward 44, imposing a total fine of Rs 1500 on the cattle owners for leaving stray cattle on the road, with a stern warning for the future. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zone 6’s team caught 5 stray cattle from Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Ward No. 61 area and sent them to Gokul Nagar Gauthan.Upon receiving complaints from citizens on the stray cattle helpline, the cow catcher team of Zone 3’s health department removed stray cattle from Shaheed Bhagat Singh Chowk and Shyam Nagar Road with the help of a special team, providing relief to the citizens. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Similarly, stray cattle were removed from the road ahead of Pahadi Chowk (5-6 cows), Geeta Nagar Bhanupriya (10 cows), Kushalpur Market Chowk (10-12 cows), Muskan Residency in Changorabhata (7-8 cows), near Sai Temple at Jhanda Chowk (herd of cows), in front of Lalit Mahal on the highway (6-7 cows), Awadhpuri Colony (8-10 cows), Adarsh Vihar Colony (5 cows, 2 buffaloes), from Vijay Nagar to Mahamaya Temple (8-10 cows), near Sundarnagar Football Ground (10-12 cows), from Mangalam Bhavan near Hamar Hospital in Gudhiyari (herd of cows), behind Ganesh Temple in Shivanand Nagar in Srinagar (herd of 5-7 cows). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Complaints, including the location and mobile number of the complainant, along with photo images from ITMS online monitoring system, were immediately sent to the Municipal Health WhatsApp group under the commissioner’s instructions. The concerned zonal health officers promptly sent cow catcher vehicles and special teams to remove stray cattle from the respective roads, providing swift relief to the citizens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
