CM highlights achievements of CG government in Sushasan Samvad program

Says many important steps taken to promote transparency and good governance in the state

New Delhi, 18 July 2024 / Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai today emphasized on his government’s commitment to good governance and transparency and discussed all the efforts taken to implement effective policies for the welfare and development of the state.

Highlighting the achievements and initiatives of his government during the Sushasan Samvad program held at Ashoka Hotel in New Delhi on the completion of six months of the Chhattisgarh government, the chief minister said that the biggest challenge before the BJP-government in the state was to maintain the trust that people had shown. He said that the government has succeeded in restoring the trust in just 100-days by fulfilling the guarantees given by Modi ji in the state manifesto.

The chief minister candidly answered various questions fielded by the public. He said that the state government has plugged all the leakages in the system that led to corruption and loss of revenue to the state under previous government. He said that in Chhattisgarh, public works are being done with great ease now, due to which the people taking commission have become disheartened. He said that these proves that “Both the intention and policy of our government are right.”

He laid special emphasis on the work done against Naxalism and said, “Our government has made special efforts to strengthen security in Naxal-affected areas. We have set up security camps and accelerated development work in these areas. This has given us great success not only in the direction of security but also in the direction of development.”

During the program, Chief Minister Sai also told that many important steps have been taken to promote transparency and good governance in Chhattisgarh. He said, “We have made the administrative processes simple and transparent so that the public can get solutions to their problems quickly and effectively.”

While counting the achievements of his government, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai said that as soon as the government was formed, we provided Pradhan Mantri Awas to 18 lakh 12 thousand 743 needy families as per Modi ji’s guarantee. Farmers were given 2 years of pending paddy bonus. As per the promise, paddy purchase was started at the rate of Rs 3100 per quintal and at the rate of 21 quintals per acre. Under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, assistance of Rs 1000 per month is being given to the women of the state. The rate of remuneration for tendu leaf collection in the state has now been increased from Rs 4000 per standard sack to Rs 5500 per standard sack.

Chief Minister Sai told that his government has brought a lot of development and good governance in the state. Many important steps have been taken for security. He said, “We are doing value addition and in the coming time, our dream Chhattisgarh is getting ready. We have started many new projects for the development of the state and are providing all the facilities required by the public.”

Sharing his vision and plans in the Sushasan Samvad program, Chief Minister Sai said that his government is fully committed to the development of the state and works of public interest. He said, “We are continuously making efforts towards making Chhattisgarh a model state.
