AmritToday / Under 19 Elite Group Inter District Tournament-2024 is organized by Chhattisgarh State Cricket Sangh from 08 May 2024. 10 teams participated in the tournament which are divided in 2 groups. Semifinal matches played on 21-24 June 2024.
Day – 4
1st Semifinal match has been played between Bilaspur and Bhilai on 21-24 June 2024 at Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium, Raipur. Bhilai won the toss and elected to field first.
Bilaspur in their 1st inning made 193 runs in 49.1 overs for the loss of 10 wickets.
For Bilaspur, Rishabh Sharma made 58 runs and Vivek Yadav made 51 runs. For Bhilai, Chandrabhushan Sahu took 4 wickets and Ayush Kumar Singh took 3 wickets. Bhilai in their 1st inning made 377 runs in 110.3 overs for the loss of 10 wickets.
For Bhilai, Alok Gupta made 124 runs and Sahil Rajat Shariff made 92 runs. For Bilaspur,
Ankit Kumar, Dhananjay Nayak and Om Vaishnav took 3 wicket each.
Bilaspur in their 2nd inning made 184 runs 41.3 overs for the loss of all 10 wickets.
For Bilaspur, Upendra Kumar Yadav made 45 runs and Dhananjay Nayak contributed 36 runs. For Bhilai, Abhyuday Singh took 4 wickets, Kumar Ishaan and Elesh Kushwaha took 3 wickets each.
Chasing target of 1 run, Bhilai won the match by hitting boundary on the first ball of the inning.
Bhilai won the match by 10 wickets.
2nd Semifinal match has been played between Plate Combined and Mahasamund on
21-24 June 2024 at Sec. 10 BSP Ground, Bhilai. Mahasamund won the toss and elected to
field first.
Plate Combined in their 1st inning, made 186 runs in 49 overs for the loss of 10 wickets. For Plate Combined, Yash Kumar Varda made 54 runs and Utkarsh Tiwari contributed 42 runs. For Mahasamund, Ayush Dwivedi took 6 wickets and Rupesh Kumbalkar took 3 wickets.
Mahasamund in their 1st inning made 64 runs in 28.1 overs for the loss of 10 wickets. For Mahasamund, Swayam Pandey made 35 runs. For Plate Combined, Nikhil Sharma took 6 wickets and Aashish Kori took 3 wickets.
Plate Combined in their 2nd inning made 91 runs in 39.2 overs for the loss of 10 wickets. For Plate Combined, Yash Kumar Varda made 19 runs and Aditya Guha contributed 20 runs. For Mahasamund, Ayush Dwivedi took 6 wickets and Jai Prakash Pandey took 4 wickets.
Chasing target Mahasamund in their 2nd inning could manage to made only 158 runs in 53.2 overs for the loss of all 10 wickets. For Mahasamund, Aditya V Kumar made 35 runs and Aditya Singh contributed 30 runs. For Plate Combined, Nikhil Sharma took 4 wickets and Aashish Kori took 4 wickets. Plate Combined won the match by 55 runs.
Final match will be played between Plate Combined vs Bhilai on 27-30 June 2024 at Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium, Raipur.
