Special Campaign Launched Against Warrant Offenders by Raipur Police.
- Raipur >> 28 February >> Total of 277 Permanent/Suspect Arrest Warrants Executed: Raipur police conducted a comprehensive drive targeting individuals with permanent/suspect arrest warrants, resulting in the execution of warrants related to homicide, attempted homicide, Arms Act violations, assault, fraud, and various other serious offenses.
- Checking Conducted on Over 175 Criminals/Gangsters: During the campaign, thorough checks were carried out on more than 175 criminals/gangsters involved in various crimes such as extortion, assault, fraud, and other serious offenses across different police stations.
- Execution of 102 Permanent Warrants and Arrest of 175 Suspects: A total of 102 permanent warrants and 175 suspect arrest warrants were executed during the past 24 hours, resulting in the apprehension of offenders.
- Some Arrests Made in Maharashtra, Odisha, and Madhya Pradesh: Several individuals were apprehended in states including Maharashtra, Odisha, and Madhya Pradesh, in addition to border districts.
- Participation of Various Senior Officers and Personnel: The special campaign was conducted under the leadership of Senior Superintendent of Police, Mr. Santosh Kumar Singh, and Additional Police Commissioner (City), Mr. Lakhn Patle, with the participation of all police station in-charges and officers.
This operation resulted in the execution of a total of 277 permanent/suspect arrest warrants, with some offenders apprehended from states like Maharashtra, Odisha, and Madhya Pradesh, along with checking conducted on over 175 criminals/gangsters. Legal action was taken against some offenders during the checking process.
