AmritToday. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai attended “Mission Avval” event held in Dhamtari on Friday. He commended the innovative “Mission Avval” initiative, which aims to improve board examination results in the district. Sai highlighted that hard work and willpower are the two most crucial elements for achieving success in life.
Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai lauded the success of ‘Mission Avval’, an initiative launched by the Dhamtari district administration for 10th and 12th grade students. The program has yielded impressive results, with students from the district achieving excellent scores in their board examinations. He stated, “We are here to honour these high-achieving students. The remarkable results we’re seeing are largely due to the significant role played by ‘Mission Avval’ initiarive.” The Chief Minister informed that the initiative involved monthly tests for students. The district administration made arrangement for special boarding to provide focused preparation for the exams. He further stated, “This approach has paid off, resulting in outstanding outcomes.” Shri Sai announced that he had inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for 122 development works worth Rs. 55.15 crore.
Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai stressed the importance of education in his address to students, calling it the ‘mulmantra’ for development. He stated, “Life is incomplete without education. It’s not just a means to secure employment, but crucial for progress in any field.” The Chief Minister encouraged students to study diligently, highlighting the availability of high-quality educational institutions in Chhattisgarh and urging them to take full advantage of these resources. Referring to Prime Minister Modi’s vision of a developed India by 2047, Sai emphasised the need to develop Chhattisgarh in alignment with this goal. “The education sector will undoubtedly play a significant role in achieving this goal,” he stated. Sai praised educational innovations in Dhamtari, such as the Vinoba app and Swadhyay app, predicting that these would greatly benefit students. He also emphasised that success requires two key elements: willpower and hard work. The Chief Minister inspired students to dream big, calling them the future of the country. Sai urged everyone to incorporate yoga into their daily routines, emphasising its importance even in busy schedules .
Member of Parliament Roop Kumari Chaudhary and MLA Ajay Chandrakar highlighted the importance of education and its role in Chhattisgarh’s development plans. MP Chaudhary stated “The importance of education has been recognised not just today but for thousands of years. We have a rich tradition of knowledge and science.” She expressed pride in the students’ excellent academic performance, calling it a moment of honour. MLA Chandrakar discussed the state’s future plans in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for a developed India by the centenary of independence. He shared, “Under the guidance of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, we’ve decided to prepare a vision document for Chhattisgarh, and work on this has already begun.” He highlighted that state government has given education top priority in this vision document. “The Chief Minister believes that if education improves, everything else will fall into place,” he stated.
Anand Kumar, the founder of Super 30, former MLAs Ranjana Dipendra Sahu, Indarchand Chopra, Shravan Markam, Pinky Shah, Collector Namrata Gandhi, SP Anjaneya Varshney, and other public representatives were present.
Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for 122 development works worth Rs. 55.15 crore in Dhamtari district. This includes the inauguration of 101 development works worth Rs. 16.04 crore and the laying of the foundation stone for 21 new development works worth Rs. 39.11 crore.
The projects inaugurated by Chief Minister Sai include:
-77 development works worth Rs. 10.31 crore under the Dhamtari Municipal Corporation
-9 development works worth Rs. 2.64 crore under the Rural Engineering Service Sub-division Dhamtari
-3 development works worth Rs. 1.10 crore under the Agriculture Department
-5 development works worth Rs. 98.24 lakh
-1 development work worth Rs. 53.41 lakh under the Public Works Department, Dhamtari
-4 development works worth Rs. 36.17 lakh under the Panchayat and Rural Development Department, Janpad Panchayat Nagri
-2 development works worth Rs. 9.50 lakh under the Forest Department
Additionally, the Chief Minister laid the foundation stones for:
-2 development works worth Rs. 12.92 crore under the Water Management Division of Rudri
-3 development works worth Rs. 11.19 crore under the Public Works Department of Dhamtari
-14 development works worth Rs. 11 crore under the Dhamtari Municipal Corporation
-1 development work worth Rs. 3.78 crore under the Electricity Department
-1 development work worth Rs. 19.96 lakh under the Panchayat and Rural Development Department, Janpad Panchayat Nagri

Chief Minister Shri Sai disburse the financial aid to beneficiaries of scholarship schemes
Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai distributed financial aid to beneficiary children under the Mukhya mantri Naunihal Chhatravriti Yojana and the Mukhya mantri Noni-Babu Medhavi Shiksha Sahayata Yojana. Under Labour Department’s Mukhya mantri Naunihal Chhatravriti Yojana, 7,594 beneficiaries received a total of Rs. 1,41,035. Additionally, 119 beneficiaries of the Mukhya mantri Noni-Babu Medhavi Shiksha Sahayata Yojana received a total of Rs. 6,41,500.
The Mukhya mantri Naunihal Chhatravriti Yojana provides financial aid ranging from Rs. 1,000 to Rs. 10,000 to the first two children of construction labourers. Similarly, under the Mukhya mantri Noni-Babu Medhavi Shiksha Sahayata Yojana, the first two children of construction labourers receive financial aid of up to Rs. 5,000 for male students and Rs. 5,500 for female students.
