SEMIFINALS
Day 1
Under 19 Elite Group Inter District Tournament-2024 is organized by Chhattisgarh
State Cricket Sangh from 08 May 2024. 10 teams participated in the tournament which are
divided in 2 groups. Semifinal matches played on 21-24 June 2024.
Day – 1
1st Semifinal match has been played between Bilaspur and Bhilai on 21-24 June
2024 at Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium, Raipur. Bhilai won
the toss and elected to field first.
At the end of day 1, Bilaspur in their 1st inning made 137 runs in 29.5 overs for the
loss of 7 wickets. For Bilaspur, Vivek Yadav made 51 runs and Rishabh Sharma made 33
runs*. For Bhilai, Ayush Kumar Singh took 3 wickets and Chandrabhushan Sahu took 2
wickets.
Till the end of day 1, Bilaspur made 137 runs on 7 wickets.
2nd Semifinal match has been played between Plate Combined and Mahasamund on
21-24 June 2024 at Sec. 10 BSP Ground, Bhilai. Mahasamund won the toss and elected to
field first.
Plate Combined in their 1st inning, made 186 runs in 49 overs for the loss of 10
wickets. For Plate Combined, Yash Kumar Varda made 54 runs and Utkarsh Tiwari
contributed 42 runs. For Mahasamund, Ayush Dwivedi took 6 wickets and Rupesh
Kumbalkar took 3 wickets.
Till the end of day 1, Mahasamund in their 1st inning made 14 runs in 5 overs for
the loss of 2 wickets. For Plate Combined, Nikhil Sharma took 2 wickets.
At the end of day 1, Plate Combined lead by 172 runs.
